Happy NaNoWriMo 2013!

I lost my old official NanoWriMo sign in.

So I created another.

I hope all of the followers of this blog are participating one way or another. I am still coming up with an idea for it – starting late as always and never finishing. But enjoying the process to get the creativeness going anyway.

Welcome to Night Vale is awesome…did you hear?

I am normally not huge into podcast. I keep getting told I need to start listening to this podcast about coffee or this podcast about music. But…I don’t. I just try to stay away from itunes unless it is to throw some more songs on to my ipod. Well, um, I found Welcome to Night Vale and it became a fiction I didn’t know I was missing.

There has been three days between my $289.70 payment and today. When I scheduled this payment my interest for all combined loans was around $15.00. But considering the amount I can pay a month $200 ish, is less than what I would rack up in interest in a month, I am probably going to ultimately do worse.  Continue reading

Adventures in Resumé Writing

So I was up last night writing a new resumé. It is funny that me, being comfortable in my new job, became suddenly annoyed by the fact that I have used the same boring resumé template since I was 16. I felt like making a resumé that’s design would “stand out,” be “professional,” and still be a good use of space for all of the things that I need to show an employer. So I spent the beginning of the night looking up really great resumé templates (I am basically too lazy/self conscious to make my own). Later I found a great one. Which you could see on my about page linked above. I have a passion for helping people find jobs and because of this I put together a list of cheap themes you could use to put together a nice professional resumé.
